Leave no trace philosophy

In cycling tourism this is a motto linked to this practice (and others) of sustainable and
responsible tourism. It consists of leaving no personal trace in the places you pass, and if possible, leave it better than you found it. Do not leave wrappers, food scraps, remains of bowel movements or anything that destroys the charm that invited you to stop in that place.
If you are going to spend the night free, take care of the environment. Wait for the approach of sunset to set up the tent and pick up with dawn. Respect private property. On this tour there are no free overnight shelters. There are enough quiet places, so you have no trouble settling in your tent.
Do not cook with the camping gas in places not authorized or periods not allowed (summer).
The risk of fire is real. DON’T MAKE FIRES.
In the river bathing areas use mineral sunscreen, so as not to pollute the rivers and pools that you can visit. You will find numerous places to bathe, mainly in the Ring of WATER

Caminos de Frontera.

The Caminos de Frontera project inspired us. Its creator Samuel and his brother Oscar helped us with the Earth ring. Thank you Samuel and Oscar.

Asociación Amigos de Sarnago.

His effort to make rural depopulation visible and fight against it inspired us on the tour. You will be able to know the village in the ring of Earth. Thanks.
