It appears in the sacred texts of all religions and is used in their religious rites and ceremonies. Throughout human history, the availability of water has determined the evolution of civilizations, the appearance of plagues, the fertility of crops, the beginning, outcome and end of wars. Treaties have been signed for its use and commercial agreements for its sale. Reservoirs have been built cutting its course to store it and river motes to protect us from its violence. Numerous canals built with pick and shovel have served to use water as a means of transport or take it to the fields where it is scarce.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-slideshow
